Dr. Alptekin Aydın: A Pioneer in Neuromodulation and Cognitive Neuroscience
Dr. Alptekin Aydın, a Specialist Neuropsychologist and Certified TMS Practitioner, was born in 1973 in Moda, Istanbul. After graduating with First-Class Honours (1st) from the Department of Psychology at Istanbul University, he completed his internship in Psychology and Philosophy Teaching Formation at Galatasaray High School. His early research focused on identifying, diagnosing, and treating autism, learning difficulties, and ADHD in children, with a particular emphasis on school adaptation challenges.
Dr. Aydın pursued a Master’s degree in Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London, specializing in Neurological and Pharmacological Substance Addiction. His academic journey continued with a Doctorate (DClinPsy) in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience in the United States, where he published groundbreaking research titled:
“Assessing the Impact of tDCS Treatment Over the Dorsolateral Prefrontal Cortex (DLPFC) on Social Communication in Children with ASD: A Survey of Family Experiences.”
Dr. Aydın further specialized in neuromodulation by completing the International Clinical TMS Certification program at Maastricht University (UM) in the Netherlands, obtaining accreditation from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) as a Certified Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and tDCS practitioner.

Contributions to Neuroscience, Research, and Public Health Initiatives
In June 2014, Dr. Aydın participated in the Greenwich Beresford Project, a collaborative research effort between the UK Department of Health and King’s College University. In 2015, he extended his expertise to individuals struggling with Gambling Addiction, providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through Redcard Gambling. His work expanded to include municipal-level healthcare initiatives, supporting councils such as Haringey, Hackney, and Enfield in developing neuromodulation-based treatment programs for mental health and addiction recovery.
In addition to his contributions to neuromodulation, he received training in Mora Bioresonance (Quantum Frequency Technology) therapy for smoking, alcohol, and substance addiction. As a Certified Bioresonance Practitioner, he has treated over 3,000 adults for substance addiction, integrating his proprietary Neuromodulation TMS, Quantum Frequency Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) protocols.
